Through our Kitchenware Refresh and Declutter + Donate services, we help clients work through what they have, keep what works, replace what they need and thoughtfully move on good-quality items they no longer use.
Where suitable and needed, those items can be passed on to support the work of the Gloriavale Leavers’ Support Trust.
Supporting life beyond Gloriavale.
The Gloriavale Leavers’ Support Trust helps people who have left, or are considering leaving, Gloriavale as they build independent lives outside the community.
Leaving can involve navigating an enormous amount of change at once. The Trust provides practical, financial, emotional, educational and social support to help individuals and families through that transition and establish themselves in their local communities.
Support can range from immediate practical needs and establishing a household through to employment, education, counselling, family support and navigating everyday services.
Helping turn a house into a home.
One practical part of the Trust’s work is helping people establish themselves in homes outside Gloriavale.
Starting again can mean needing many of the everyday essentials most of us already have around us. Where appropriate, donated goods and household items can form part of the practical support available to leavers as they establish independent lives.
That’s where the work Pretty Organised already does can make a small but meaningful contribution.
Something leaving one home can become genuinely useful in another.
A refresh that can go a little further.
When we organise, declutter or refresh a home, we regularly come across good-quality kitchenware and household pieces that simply aren’t needed anymore.
A client might be upgrading cookware, replacing a mismatched dinner set, reducing duplicates or clearing cupboards of things they never use.
Through our Kitchenware Refresh and Declutter + Donate services, suitable items can be identified and, where appropriate and needed by the Trust, passed on to support their work.

What the Trust needs can change over time. Items must be clean, safe, functional and in genuinely good condition, and not every item removed during a refresh or declutter will necessarily be suitable.
